Meet Our Founder
Peter Donahue is a certified PGA Professional whose career has been defined by thoughtful instruction, innovation, and a deep commitment to community. Known for his humility and relationship-driven approach, Peter has spent decades helping young people access the game of golf in ways that feel welcoming, supportive and sustainable.
As co-founder of The Golf Practice, he helped build a respected coaching organization grounded in mentorship and long-term development. He currently coaches at Evanston Township High School, where his leadership has shaped a culture of growth and teamwork–many players first encountering golf through his youth programs.
Peter founded Donahue Partners Ltd. to expand access to golf through community-based programming and clear pathways forward. His work continues to focus on creating opportunity rooted in care, consistency, and connection.
His teaching is more of a path than a destination–shaped by how each student learns.
